Pregnant Woman Narrowly Escapes As Ambulance Catches Fire, Explodes In Maharashtra: Watch
A pregnant woman and her family escaped unharmed after their ambulance caught fire and an oxygen cylinder exploded in Jalgaon, Maharashtra.
A pregnant woman and her family in Maharashtra's Jalgaon district had a close shave after the ambulance they were travelling in caught fire and the oxygen cylinder exploded.
The video of the explosion was shared by users on social media where the ambulance could be seen going up in a ball of flames, with sparks shooting several feet high. Seconds later, an explosion could be seen in the video and the impact was such that it shattered the windows of some nearby houses.
The driver of the ambulance sensed the hazard as he noticed smoke emanating from the engine. He got off and asked the pregnant woman and her family to also leave the vehicle and move to a safe distance.

The ambulance caught fire after everyone had disembarked and minutes later an oxygen cylinder inside the vehicle exploded.
The incident occurred on a National Highway in the Dada Wadi area of Jalgaon. The ambulance was ferrying the pregnant woman and her family from the Erandol government hospital to the Jalgaon district hospital.
