Gujarat Police Takes To The Skies In Jungadh With Paramotor Surveillance During Lili Parikrama: Watch
The Gujarat police deployed paramotoring during Girnar Lili Parikrama in Junagadh.
The Gujarat police has devised a new strategy for surveillance and crowd control during the Lili Parikrama in Junagadh. The police deployed paramotoring to boost the security arrangements sacred event, which started on November 23rd and is expected to be attended by 15 lakh devotees.

The Girnar Lili Parikrama is an annual event lasting five days starting with Devuthni Ekadashi and concludes with Kartik Purnamashi. The event sees Hindu pilgrims from around the world take part in the circumambulation or Green pradakshina.

The parikrama route covers a total distance of 36 kilometres wherein the devotees wade through dense forest During the course of the parikrama, the devotees and spiritual seekers come across various sacred locations and temples like Mountain peaks Gorakhnath Ambamata Augadh Guru Dattatreya and Kalika as well as Bhavnath Shiv temple Bhartruchari cave Sorath Mahal Bhim Kund and Shiv Kund.
The bounty of nature like ponds and rivers make for a magnificent view and adds freshness and positivity in the devotees.
Girnar is the tallest mountain in Gujarat which is located six kilometres away from Junagadh city.
It is believed that the Pandavas performed the parikrama here to seek God’s blessings after winning the war at Kurukshetra.
