He posted a picture of Ritu applying mehndi for Karwa Chauth, along with their daughters, Kiara and Pihu, proudly showing off their mehndi.

On Saturday, Gaurav, a former pilot, addressed the rumors further by sharing a note on Instagram, acknowledging that every relationship has its ups and downs. He wrote, "To everyone reading this, your parents must have also gone through some tough times in their marriage and might not have even disclosed it to you (immediate family). The message is clear: jab tumhare maa baap ne tumhe apne relation mein nahi ghusaya, to please hum kaise ghusaye (if your parents don’t involve you in their matters, why would we). Speculation about their marriage began after Ritu was reportedly spotted at a 'Bhajan Marg' event with Premanand Maharaj, where she was allegedly heard discussing 'cheating' and wondering whether to fight for custody of her children.
