Freezing Temperatures And 4 Months Of Darkness Is What It Takes To Live Near North Pole - Watch Viral Video

Winter is about to begin in India and preparations to fight the chill has started for many. From buying thick woolens to taking out heaters before winter hits, people have begun to prepare themselves to stay cozy. While many may think that winter in our country is harsh with temperatures in the plains sometimes plummeting below the freezing point and in the hills snowing, have you given a thought what it is to live like close to the North Pole?

In a viral video shared on Instagram, @sejsejlija gives a glimpse of her life in Svalbard. In the clip the woman mentions that the people in the village use special clothing to keep themselves warm and wear layers of them if they have to go outside. She also shows her cozy cabin and her adorable dog.

Since being shared, the video has has been viewed over 30 lakh times and garnered close to three lakh likes and several comments. 

One Instagram user after seeing the video wrote, "It would be extremely hard for me long term. I think I'd sink into a deep depression."
