Boy Buys Sanitary Napkins And Ice Cream For Classmate On Her Periods, Internet Showers Praise
The girl took to microblogging site twitter to talk about what happened after she got her period during her class and did not have a sanitary napkin nor did the girl she knew had one.
There is so much awareness being created by the government, self help groups and individuals across the country about menstrual cycles to kill the taboo associated with it. And when a boy breaks tradition to help his classmate get a sanitary pad, while she suddenly haves her period is extremely heartwarming. The girl took to microblogging site twitter to talk about what happened after she got her period during her class and did not have a sanitary napkin nor did the girl she knew had one.
Ayushka, taking to Twitter wrote that the boy noticed that she was in pain and asked if she needed anything. On being asked, she confirmed whether there was any medical store close by. Instead of telling her the directions and sending her alone, the boy accompanied her during their break to the medical store.
"Today when I was in my training institute, I got my period. I didn't have sanitary napkins, and neither did that girl I knew in my class. During the class I was in so much pain, that the guy next to me noticed and asked if I needed anything," read the caption of the post shared by Ayushka.
"I asked him if we have any medical store near us. He searched for the directions,asked me to come with him during the break. We went to the store, he went in to buy the napkins, also bought me ice cream.I am so overwhelmed now I am literally falling for this city and its people," she further wrote.
