A couple arguing in the middle of the street in the middle of the day and it was captured on video, which has now gone viral. The incident occurred in Bihar’s Nalanda and the couple were arguing because they accused each other of being involved in extramarital affairs.

The video begins with the woman yelling at an elderly woman, likely her mother-in-law while holding her husband by his collar. Bystanders try to persuade the wife to let go of his collar, but the couple continue to yell and exchange insults at each other. The heated argument escalated into a physical altercation, and the police were forced to intervene and took the couple to the police station. Her family members and passersby attempt to de-escalate the situation but fail.

According to News18, Rashmi Devi and Dharmveer Kumar have been married for seven years and have two children. Devi has alleged that her husband would often assault her whenever she asked for money for household expenses, because of this she accused him of being involved with a relative.

Kumar doubled down and accused his wife of being in an extramarital affair with a young man from the village. He further claimed that her lover had recently assaulted him. Devi was reportedly on her way to the police station to file a complaint against her husband when Kumar intercepted her in an attempt to stop her. Upon encountering him, she allegedly began verbally abusing and physically attacking him.

The Bihar police brought the couple to the police station, where they continued to hurl accusations at each other. The station head reportedly counselled the couple before sending them back home.
