BBC Anchor's Slip Of Tongue During Live Broadcast Sparks Laughter. WATCH

The viral clip of the BBC news anchor fumbling during live broadcast has gained close to 9 lakh views.

Television News anchoring can be a difficult task, especially in a breaking news situation as things are not planned. So, one can easily fumble and make mistakes. This is exactly what happened with a BBC news anchor during a live broadcast. Shared on microblogging site X (formerly Twitter) by BBC presenter Gareth Barlow, the video has gone insanely viral.

In the 12-second clip Barlow instead of saying "You are watching," the BBC ends up saying "I am watching" as the news bulletin and he turns towards the camera to welcome the audience. He immediately corrects himself and does the usual introduction with ease.

"Can someone please remind me who’s watching the news…, read the caption of the video shared by Barlow.

The viral clip shared on August 21 has amassed close o 9 lakh views, 6,929 likes and tons of comments.

"You were watching BBC News… and hosting it. Not entirely incorrect haha," one user commented on the post.

"And you were all prepared and so raring to go....lol. It was an adorable little flub and you recovered so well with a great smile. You're an old pro. Wonderful to see you on our screens again. Best wishes from Western Canada," wrote another user.

"Future skills on a CV: 'Watching the news starting in Australia while also presenting it' Multitasking ninja!," joked a third.

"Aww, just goes to show the human side and adds to the richness of the programme, many would have flustered, a fab recovery," commented a fourth.
