Hyderabad: Telangana Minister KT Rama Rao has urged Director General of Police M Mahender Reddy to take strong action against Bholakpur AIMIM corporator Mohd Ghousuddin who was caught on camera abusing and obstructing police officers on duty.

Sharing a video of the incident, KTR wrote, “Request Telangana DGP Garu to take stern action against the individuals who obstructed police officers on duty. No such nonsense should be tolerated in Telangana irrespective of political affiliations,”.

According to the reports, Police officers on night duty came into the Bholakpur neighbourhood at about 2 a.m. on Tuesday. A few shops in the locality were open at the time, according to the Musheerabad police station's night patrolling crew.
The police officers then told shop owners to close the shops and told the crowd to disperse. Gouseuddin, who arrived after being tipped off by the locals, got into a fight with the cops. According to video evidence, the AIMIM Corporator got into a violent dispute with the police constables on duty and was seen abusing and threatening them.
