Telangana CM KCR To Launch National Party On Occasion Of Dussehra Today. 10 Points
the Telangana CM has been on a national tour to meet the regional party leaders to form an anti-BJP alliance
On the occasion of Vijayadashami, Telangana Chief Minister and Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) K Chandrasekhar Rao will launch a national party on Wednesday with the help of regional parties. KCR to announce the renaming of TRS as Bharatiya Rashtra Samiti (BRS) at an auspicious time in the presence of 250 TRS leaders and lawmakers.
Meanwhile, the Telangana CM has been on a national tour to meet the regional party leaders to form an anti-BJP alliance.
Here are 10 points:
- The Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) will be renamed Bhartiya Rashtra Samiti (BRS) on Wednesday at an auspicious time of 1:19 PM. The party's policies, constitution and structure will be discussed during the national party announcement. The CM will present a routemap for the party.
- KCR is keen on preparing a blueprint for the welfare schemes for farmers. The party will largely focus on the upliftment of Dalit communities and promoting communal harmony, said sources.
- KCR has earlier announced that free electricity will be provided to farmers across the country if the non-BJP coalition comes to power.
- JDS leader and former Karnataka Chief Minister Kumaraswamy, JDS minister Revanna, several JDS party MLAs and senior leaders arrived in Hyderabad to attend the general body meeting.z
- KCR will address at a public meeting on December 9 in Delhi.
- Claiming that power has been underuntilised by the NDA government at Centre, KCR says he has plans for utilising 4.04 lakh MW power properly.
- Besides power underutilization, he also claimed that there's an availability of 70,000 TMC of water availability which is not being used properly for harvesting.
- KCR said that the Gujarat model has failed utterly and the country is looking for a strong alternative.
- Ahead of embarking onto national politics, KCR hosted Kumaraswamay, VCK party chief for breakfast.
- TRS leader Aravind Alishetty expressed his fondness and welcomes the new national party of KCR, a move to enter into national politics by the Telangana CM, in an innovative and vibrant way. He welcomed this move by a sand art in the Puri Beach in Orissa by the renowned sand artist.
