Telangana CM K Chandrashekar Rao Inaugurates Police Command And Control Centre In Hyderabad
The police command and control centre was constructed at a cost of over Rs 600 crores in Hyderabad.
Hyderabad: Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao inaugurated Telangana police's Integrated Command and Control Centre (ICCC) near Puri Jagannath Temple on road number 12, Banjara Hills, Hyderabad, on Thursday. He was accompanied by Home Minister Mohd Mahmood Ali, Cinematography Minister T Srinivas Yadav and Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar.
The Police command and control centre was constructed at a cost of over Rs 600 crores in Hyderabad. The foundation of the building was laid in the year 2017.
The Command Control Centre is a four-tower building with 20 floors each with a built-up area of 5.5 lakh square feet. The towers' double glass curtain wall system improves acoustics, thermal comfort, and energy efficiency. Visitors would be allowed to the 14th floor of the towers, from where they can have a 360-degree view of the city.

The building is spread over 7 acres with over 7 lakh square feet in 4 blocks A, B, C, and D. Tower-A is 84.2 meters high from the ground floor. Tower B, C and D are 65.2 meters high.
The structure contains a rooftop helipad and a two-story parking garage. The Hyderabad police commissioner's office and administrative divisions will be located in Tower A, which is on the left side of the centre. There will be a state-level surveillance system in Tower B with access to every camera in Telangana. The tower will also contain the traffic command centre, She Teams, emergency response organisations, Hawk Eye assistance, and other associated organisations.
