Telangana: Clash Broke Out Between BJP, TRS Workers During 'Praja Sangrama Yatra', Injuries Reported

Reports suggest that several people were injured in the clash

Hyderabad: High tension prevailed when a clash broke out between Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) workers and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) workers during state BJP chief Bandi Sanjay Kumar's 'Praja Sangrama Yatra' at Devaruppula Mandal centre in Janagaon district on Monday.

"Both TRS and BJP members attacked each other. Police brought the situation under control. If we receive a complaint, the case will be registered," said police.

According to the ABP Desam report, the local BJP workers warmly welcomed Bandi Sanjay to Devaruppula Mandal. Sanjay spoke at a public meeting held at Devaruppula after he unfurled the national flag at Prashanthi High School.

During the speech of Bandi Sanjay, an argument broke out between BJP and TRS workers, gradually leading to conflict. Bandi Sanjay said that no development had occurred in the Palakurthi constituency, and the CM KCR government is not providing jobs to the youth. At the same time, some TRS leaders and activists present there disagreed with Bandi Sanjay's comments. They got into an argument with the BJP workers.

Reports suggest that several people were injured in the clash.

Following the clash, a video of the Telangana BJP President Bandi Sanjay Kumar surfaced on Twitter, where the Karimnagar MP is seen conversing with the Director General of Police (DGP). He is heard blaming the state police force for being unable to control the situation.
