Telangana: Bus Carrying 'Pushpa 2' Artistes Meets With Accident In Nalgonda Dist

The bus carrying the film artists hit a stationary RTC bus near Narketpally on the Hyderabad-Vijayawada highway injuring two artistes.

Two 'Pushpa 2' movie artists travelling in a bus returning to Hyderabad from Andhra Pradesh after shooting met with an accident in Telangana's Nalgonda district on Wednesday. According to an IANS report, the bus carrying the film artists hit a stationary RTC bus near Narketpally on the Hyderabad-Vijayawada highway. Two persons sustained minor injuries in the accident. The artists were returning to Hyderabad from the Srikakulam district of Andhra Pradesh after completing a shooting schedule of 'Pushpa 2' starring Allu Arjun.

The RTC bus driver had stopped the vehicle by the roadside after developing some technical issues. The driver of the bus carrying the artists failed to notice the RTC bus and rammed into it.

The makers of the movie had last month released the first look poster of "Pushpa: The Rule", the much-awaited sequel of 'Pushpa: The Rise'

As per previous reports, it was rumoured that Tamil actor Vijay Sethupathi will also be a part of the film as another antagonist but no official confirmation or subsequent reports supported this to be true. However, the speculations of a second villain have been there.

Meanwhile, 'Pushpa: The Rise' was one of the biggest Telugu-grossing films of all time and established a pan-India fan base for Allu Aurjun. The film revolves around a daily labourer in the underworld of redwood smuggling navigating corruption, politics, and power. The film earned Rs. 350 crores and ranks among the top-ten highest grossers in Telugu cinema.

Besides Fahadh Faasil and Allu Arjun, 'Pushpa: The Rule' will also star Rashmika Mandanna. Jagadeesh Prathap Bandari, and Anasuya Bharadwaj in prominent roles.

The film is expected to be released by the end of 2023.
