'Taraka Ratna Always Treated Us Like Family': Actor's Drivers Recall His Warm Gestures

A day after Taraka Ratna was cremated, his drivers recalled the warm gestures of the late actor and said he treated them like his own family.

A day after Taraka Ratna was cremated, his drivers recalled the warm gestures of the late actor on Tuesday. The drivers said that Taraka Ratna treated them like his own family and never disrespected them. They also said that he never made them carry his luggages and did it on his own.

Taraka Ratna is the grandson of legendary actor and former Andhra Pradesh chief minister NT Rama Rao.

Speaking to the ABP Desam, an emotional Nageswar Rao, the driver of Taraka Ratna said, "He (Taraka Ratna) always treated us like family. He was very friendly. He checks on our family members. He takes care of all the employees working for him."

"Taraka Ratna loves cars in black colour. He is a good human being and never thought he would die like this. Taraka Ratna has a strong bond with his uncle Nandamuri Balakrishna," Rao further said.

Another driver, Sai Ram said, “He was a good man. He never allows us to carry luggages or bags. He will always do it for himself. He never orders us to do such work.”

The doctors treated him with balloon angioplasty, intra-balloon pump and vasoactive support. His condition turned very critical on Friday and passed away on Saturday.

He is survived by his wife Alekhya and a daughter.

Taraka Ratna had acted in a few Telugu movies, including 'Okato Number Kurraadu' in 2002, before making a plunge into politics.
