PM Modi's Two-Day Visit To Andhra Pradesh, Telangana To Begin On Nov 11
PM Modi will arrive in Visakhapatnam on November 11 and on November 12, he will launch various projects worth Rs 10,842 crore.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will begin his two-day visit to Andhra Pradesh and Telangana on November 11. He will launch a slew of developmental projects worth Rs 10,842-crore in both the Telugu states. PM Modi will arrive in Visakhapatnam on November 11 and on November 12, he will launch various projects at an event held at Andhra University Engineering College grounds.
The PM will address the public at the same venue before leaving for Hyderabad. Andhra Pradesh CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and his cabinet ministers will attend the event.
Some of the projects he will be launching are the AP section of the Visakhapatnam-Raipur greenfield economic corridor (Rs 3,778 crore), the ONGC field development project in Eastern offshore worth Rs 2,917 crore, laying off the GAIL pipeline from Srikakulam to Angul worth Rs 2,658 crore, widening of road between Sheela Nagar and Convent Junction (Rs 566 crore), works for railway re-development projects worth Rs 460 crore, road expansion between Ichapuram and Paralakhemundi (Rs 211 crore) and modernisation of a fishing arbour worth Rs 152 crore.

Meanwhile, Visakhapatnam is gearing up to welcome PM Modi's maiden visit to the city after he became the Prime Minister.

Following the event in Visakhapatnam, The PM will fly down to Telangana's Ramagundam to dedicate Ramagundam Fertilizers and Chemicals Limited (RFCL) plant to the nation. According to the schedule, after Ramagundam, PM Modi will inaugurate the newly laid 54-km railway line between Kothagudem and Suttapalli.
Meanwhile, there has been an uproar from a few organisations in Telangana, who have decided to obstruct PM Modi's visit and called for a "Modi Go Back" campaign, said a Telangana Today report.
