Orange Alert For 13 Districts In Telangana And 10 Districts In Andhra Pradesh: IMD
Hyderabad Meteorological Center has said that moderate to heavy rains will occur in Telangana for the next two days.
India Meteorological Department r(IMD) on Sunday said that the low pressure formed in the west-central and adjoining northwest Bay of Bengal has turned into a cyclone. It touched the state of Chhattisgarh and would reach Madhya Pradesh via Vidarbha in the next 24 hours. Due to this effect, moderate to heavy rains are likely to occur in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, said IMD.
Hyderabad Meteorological Center has said that moderate to heavy rains will occur in Telangana for the next two days. An orange and yellow alert was issued for many districts on Monday due to the heavy rain forecast.
Moderate rains occurred in Adilabad, Kumaram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Nirmal, Jayashankar Bhupalapally, Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Nizamabad, Jagtial, Rajanna Siricilla, Karimnagar, Peddapally, Mahbubabad, Warangal, Khammam district and Hyderabad on Sunday.
IMD on Monday issued an orange alert to 13 districts -- Adilabad, Kumaram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Jagtial, Karimnagar, Peddapalli, Jayashankar Bhupalapalli, Mulugu, Warangal, Hanmakonda and Siddipet.

Moderate rains will occur in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam on Monday under the influence of low pressure. Amaravati Meteorological Center said that along with Vizag city, Anakapalli and Pendurthi areas would receive heavy rains. The West Godavari, East Godavari, Konaseema, Kakinada, Anakapalli, Visakhapatnam, Vizianagaram, Srikakulam, Parvathipuram Manyam, Alluri Sitharama Raju districts will receive heavy rains for the next two days. Amaravati Met Office has issued an orange alert for these districts.
Amaravati Meteorological Center said that heavy to very heavy rains will occur in South Coastal Andhra districts on Monday. Rayalaseema will receive moderate to heavy rains. Due to the moderate to heavy rain forecast, a yellow alert has been issued for NTR, Eluru, Guntur, Prakasam, Krishna, and Sri Potti Sriramulu Nellore districts.
