Minister KT Rama Rao Visits Fluorosis Victim Amsala Swamy’s Home In Nalgonda

Minister KTR sat beside Swamy, asked about his well-being, and had lunch with him.

KT Rama Rao, working president of Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS), visited Fluorosis victim Amsala Swamy’s home in Shivannagudem, Mariguda Mandal, Nalgonda, on Thursday.

“In the much-maligned field of politics, there are few occasions when the heart is happy. Swamy, a fluorosis victim invited me for lunch. Was happy that a Dignity House & Livelihood has been provided to his family. More importantly, fluorosis is gone now thanks to Mission Bhagiratha,” KTR tweeted after meeting the fluorosis victim.

Minister KTR sat beside Swamy, asked about his well-being, and had lunch with him.

Swamy was moved by the TRS leader's gesture and exclaimed that the visit by the minister was a dream come true. He invited the TRS Working President to see his newly constructed home a few months ago. He recalled the assistance extended by the Minister - construction of a home, arranging a saloon.

Minister KTR came to Swamy’s rescue by allocating Rs 5.4 lakh through the government to construct a double-bedroom home. After that, the TRS working president, in his personal capacity, offered help in completing pending works of the house. Not only that the minister has also arranged a saloon for Swamy, which serves as a livelihood.

Swamy was the same person who was brought before Atal Bihari Vajpayee, the then-prime minister, in 1998 to describe the seriousness of the fluorosis crisis in Nalgonda.
