Chennai: The Hyderabad police booked eight persons in connection with the attack on Telangana BJP MP Arvind Dharmapuri’s residence in the city on Friday.
According to ANI, “Hyderabad Police booked 8 people in connection with the attack on Telangana BJP MP Arvind Dharmapuri's residence in Hyderabad yesterday. Police invoked non-bailable sections against the accused persons.”

On Friday, around 50 TRS members barged into the house and smashed furniture, flower pots, the windshield of the car and a glass shelf at the house. The guard at the house was unable to stop the men who also carried flags of the TRS party.
At the time of the incident, Nizamabad MP Arvind Dharmapuri was not present at the house in Banjara Hills but his mother D Vijayalakshmi and others were present.
After the incident, Arvind Dharmapuri taking to social media said, "@Arvindharmapuri కెసిఆర్, KTR, K.కవిత ల ఆదేశాలపై హైదరాబాద్ లోని నా ఇంటిపై దాడి చేసిన TRS గుండాలు. ఇంట్లో వస్తువులు పగలగొడుతూ, బీభత్సం సృష్టిస్తూ, మా అమ్మను బెదిరించారు! The BJP MP's residence came under attack by Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) members after a comment by the leader against Chief Minister's daughter.
Earlier, Dharmapuri alleged that former MP Kavitha was trying to join Congress since she was not happy in TRS. However, Kavitha said that the BJP MP used bad language while talking about her alleged outreach to Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge.
