'ED Arrives Before PM Modi In Poll-Bound States': TRS MLC Kavitha After Being Named In Liquor Policy Case

Kavitha while addressing her supporters Thursday said every child in the country knows ED arrives before PM Modi in poll-bound states

A day after Enforcement Directorate (ED) named Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao's daughter and TRS MLC K Kavitha in the Delhi liquor policy case, a large number of supporters gathered at TRS leader Kavita's residence. Kavitha while addressing her supporters Thursday said every child in the country knows ED arrives before PM Modi in poll-bound states.

"Modi govt came 8 yrs ago & in these 8 years democratically elected govt in 9 states were toppled while BJP formed its govts in inappropriate way. Every child in country knows ED arrives before PM Modi in poll-bound states. This has happened in Telangana," Kavitha said, as quoted by news agency ANI.

"Same thing is happening in Telangana as we've elections next year ED has arrived before PM Modi in the state. We've welcomed them and will be cooperating with them. Still, BJP is playing cheap tricks.

"PM Modi can put us behind the bars, but we will still be working for the people & expose the failures of the BJP. TRS govt is running smoothly in Telangana. We have exposed their conspiracy to topple state govt & Telangana's people have witnessed it," she added.

She also dared Prime Minister Narendra Modi to keep her and other leaders in jail by proving that they are guilty of any wrongdoings.

The ED in its remand report said that a person named "Kavitha Kalvakathla" used two phones and her IMEI changed 10 times. It, however, did not identify the person concerned.
