As per a recent report from Bank of America (BoA), there is a possibility of a delay in the release of the upcoming iPhone 15 line. Wamsi Mohan, a renowned global securities analyst at BoA, has indicated that the official unveiling of the iPhone 15 series might be pushed back by a few weeks, leading to a potential launch in October instead of the usual September timeframe. Mohan's research note, shared with Barrons, suggests that the launch could potentially occur in the fourth quarter (Q4) of 2023.

Netflix Stops Password Sharing In India

In a notable move targeted at India, Netflix has introduced a new policy to curtail password sharing and restrict account access solely to members of a "Household." This initiative is part of a broader worldwide effort to clamp down on password sharing beyond immediate family members. The primary objective behind this decision is to enhance revenue generation, especially after a challenging period the company faced last year. Netflix had previously declared its commitment to tackle this issue in May, and the outcomes thus far have been promising.

Twitter is currently encountering its second lawsuit this month, where it is being accused of owing more than $500 million in severance pay to former employees. The legal proceedings were initiated as a proposed class action and filed in the Delaware federal court by Chris Woodfield, a former senior engineer at Twitter. The lawsuit alleges that the company engaged in the discriminatory practice of specifically targeting older workers for layoffs, which sets it apart from the other ongoing cases.
