Google has just introduced Circle to Search for the Pixel 6 family and the Pixel 7a, alongside announcing an upcoming instant translation feature for Circle to Search. This feature is now starting to roll out. The translation occurs seamlessly, with the translated text completely replacing the original text. The process is straightforward -- you activate Google's Circle to Search as usual, then tap on the new Translate icon that appears to the right of the Google bar. And just like that, the text is translated.
Facebook Videos Become TikTok Like Now
Facebook, owned by Meta, has revealed the rollout of an enhanced video player for mobile devices, now adopting a TikTok-like vertical window format. The company aims to consolidate "Reels, long videos, and Live content all in one fullscreen, engaging experience." When browsing through your feed within the Facebook app, Meta assures users they will encounter a fullscreen vertical video display. Previously, the app showcased horizontal videos, depending on the device and the video's length. Nevertheless, users retain the option to watch videos in landscape mode by rotating their phone.
Spotify Is Increasing Prices In These Regions
After maintaining its monthly subscription at $9.99 for several years, music streaming gaint Spotify made a shift last July when its Spotify Premium service increased to $10.99. Now, it seems the music platform is gearing up for another price hike, with a significantly shorter interval this time around. According to news agency Bloomberg, Spotify is set to increase its subscription charge by $1 to $2 in the UK, Australia, Pakistan, and two additional markets by the end of April, with plans for a subsequent increase for US customers "later this year."
