Realme 15 Pro, Realme 15 Now Official: Sony Cameras, Massive Battery, & A Surprising Price Tag

Realme 15 Pro 5G is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset, while the Realme 15 5G runs on MediaTek’s Dimensity 6100+.

Realme has officially launched the Realme 15 Pro 5G and Realme 15 5G in India, positioning the smartphones as strong contenders in the mid-range market. The new models offer large batteries, high-refresh-rate displays, and 5G capabilities. Unveiled alongside the Realme Buds T200, the devices aim to deliver value for money without compromising on modern-day essentials.

The Realme 15 Pro 5G is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset, while the Realme 15 5G runs on MediaTek’s Dimensity 6100+. Both phones boast 120Hz AMOLED displays and generous 7,000mAh battery capacities, promising up to two days of usage on a single charge.

Design and Camera Get a Major Boost

On the design front, the new Realme 15 series features a curved display with 2,160Hz PWM dimming and a 2.32mm narrow chin. Realme claims this makes the Realme 15 Pro 5G the segment’s slimmest curved screen smartphone. The camera setup includes a 50MP Sony LYT-600 sensor for the Pro variant, while the standard model offers a 50MP AI dual camera system.

Realme is also integrating its proprietary Realme UI 5.0 with Android 14 on both models, which promises smoother performance and improved security features.

And Now, the Big Question: What About the Price?

While the specs are impressive, it’s the pricing that is grabbing headlines. Realme has taken a calculated approach to balance premium features with affordability.

The Realme 15 Pro 5G comes in four variants:

  • 8GB + 128GB: Rs 31,999
  • 8GB + 256GB: Rs 33,999
  • 12GB + 256GB: Rs 35,999
  • 12GB + 512GB: Rs 38,999

The Realme 15 5G starts more affordably:

  • 8GB + 128GB: Rs 25,999
  • 8GB + 256GB: Rs 27,999
  • 12GB + 256GB: Rs 30,999

These prices put Realme in direct competition with other mid-range giants, and early reception suggests the pricing strategy may well pay off.

Realme Buds T200 Join the Party

The launch wasn’t limited to smartphones. Realme also introduced the Realme Buds T200, designed to complement the phones. Featuring up to 38 hours of total battery life and environmental noise cancellation, the earbuds are targeted at everyday users who want quality audio without splurging.

Listed at Rs 1,999, the Realme Buds T200 are being offered at a special Rs 1,699 with select bank offers, making them a smart companion for anyone in the Realme ecosystem.

Launch and Availability

Realme confirmed that all three products will be available through major online and offline retailers. The company is also offering a range of launch-time discounts and financing options for early adopters.

With its bold battery claims and strategic pricing, the Realme 15 series appears ready to reshape what users expect from mid-range devices.
