OnePlus 13T Leaves Rivals iPhone 16 Pro Max, Galaxy S25 Ultra, Xiaomi 15 Pro In The Dust With Monster Battery Life

Despite being a compact device, the 13T managed to squeeze in a battery larger than what’s found in much bulkier flagships.

The upcoming OnePlus 13T has emerged as the battery king among some of the most powerful smartphones of 2025. Tested against top-tier rivals including the iPhone 16 Pro Max, Galaxy S25 Ultra, Xiaomi 15 Pro, and Pixel 9 Pro XL, the OnePlus 13T outlasted them all, thanks largely to its massive 6,260mAh silicon-carbon battery, reported Gizmochina.

Despite being a compact device, the 13T managed to squeeze in a battery larger than what’s found in much bulkier flagships. To put things in perspective, its sibling, the OnePlus 13, carries a 6,000mAh battery, while the iPhone 16 Pro Max lags behind at just 4,685mAh.

How Did the Others Stack Up?

The battery showdown included six flagship devices with varying chipsets and software optimisation levels. The OnePlus 13T, OnePlus 13, Xiaomi 15 Pro, and Galaxy S25 Ultra all run on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 (Elite), while the Pixel 9 Pro XL and iPhone 16 Pro Max use Google's Tensor G4 and Apple’s A18 Pro chips, respectively.

As expected, chipset efficiency and software tuning played a major role in endurance. The Pixel 9 Pro XL was the first to power down, struggling with heat and battery drain throughout the test.

The Pixel showed the lowest battery percentage and the highest temperature throughout, and unsurprisingly, it was the first to die.

Next to bow out was the Galaxy S25 Ultra, just 14 minutes before the OnePlus 13. Interestingly, the iPhone 16 Pro Max outlasted both despite a significantly smaller battery.

“We’ve seen Apple devices with their A-series chips and well-optimised OS often outperform Android phones with much larger batteries,” the report noted.

OnePlus 13T: The Last Phone Standing

The Xiaomi 15 Pro put up a solid fight, lasting longer than the S25 Ultra but ultimately shutting down 6 minutes before the iPhone. Yet, it was the OnePlus 13T that truly impressed, running 32 minutes longer than the iPhone 16 Pro Max in the real-world endurance test.

Despite Samsung reusing most components and design from its previous Ultra flagship, it’s clear the brand spent time optimising the OS, and it paid off.

Even so, the OnePlus 13T walked away with the crown. Its performance not only sets a benchmark for compact flagships but also hints at a new era where smaller phones no longer compromise on stamina.

With the OnePlus 13T expected to launch soon in India as the OnePlus 13s, this victory could give it a serious edge in the fiercely competitive premium smartphone market.
