Handset maker Vivo is set to unveil its next flagship smartphone lineup, the Vivo X200 series, in October, a new leak suggests. Digitial Chat Station, a well-known source in the tech community, has recently revealed details about the battery capacity of the purported Vivo X200 Pro variant. The Vivo X200 series is said to be among the first commercially available phones to feature the upcoming MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipset.

Vivo X200 Pro Leaked Battery Details

Previous leaks suggest that the standard Vivo X200 model will have a more compact display, measuring either 6.4 or 6.5 inches, while the Vivo X200 Pro is expected to boast a larger 6.7-inch screen.

The latest information indicates that the X200 Pro might include a substantial battery exceeding 6,000mAh capacity. Below is the leaked dummy image of the purported Vivo X200, that succeeds the Vivo X100 (read our full review of Vivo X100 here)

To address potential concerns about weight and thickness, Vivo is said to sue the same fiberglass material used in their recently unveiled Vivo X Fold 3 series.

Other rumoured features of the Vivo X200 Pro include a 2K resolution display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a micro-curved design on all four sides, and an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor for security.

The camera setup is said to include a custom-made 22nm Sony 50-megapixel primary sensor with a 1/1.28-inch size and f/1.57 aperture. This may be complemented by a 50-megapixel ultrawide lens and a high-resolution 200-megapixel periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom capabilities.

While these leaks paint an impressive picture of the X200 Pro's, it is important to remember that Vivo has not yet confirmed any official specifications. The full details of the Vivo X200 series will be revealed during Vivo's likely announcement in October.

Vivo X100 Series India Launch

To recall, Vivo had unveiled its latest X-series smartphones, the X100 and X100 Pro, in India on January 4. These flagship devices were launched with cutting-edge technology, with a focus on photography and performance. Both models are powered by MediaTek's Dimensity 9300 chipset and feature IP68-rated protection against water and dust. The standout feature is their advanced camera systems, co-developed with Zeiss and enhanced by Vivo's proprietary imaging chip.

The X100 Pro boasts a Sony IMX989 1-inch type main sensor, promising exceptional image quality. Both phones sport 6.78-inch curved LTPO AMOLED displays with adaptive refresh rates up to 120Hz, ensuring smooth visuals and efficient power management.

Battery life is a priority, with the X100 featuring a 5,000mAh battery and 120W fast charging, while the X100 Pro offers a slightly larger 5,400mAh battery with 100W charging capabilities.

These devices were previously released in China and select international markets before their Indian debut. Pricing for the Vivo X100 starts at Rs 63,999 for the 12GB RAM/256GB storage variant, with a higher-end 16GB RAM/512GB model available at Rs 69,999. The Vivo X100 Pro is offered in a single 16GB RAM/512GB storage configuration, priced at Rs. 89,999, and is available in Asteroid Black.
