Vivo X100 Series With Zeiss Cameras Launched: Price, Specifications, Everything You Need To Know

Vivo on Tuesday launched its latest smartphones, the Vivo X100 Pro and Vivo X100, in China. Both devices feature the newly integrated MediaTek Dimensity 9300 System on Chip (SoC) and operate on the Android 14-based OriginOS 4. The X series showcases a 6.78-inch 8 LTPO AMOLED display with a curved design and a refresh rate of up to 120Hz.

Focusing on camera capabilities, the Vivo X100 series boasts a triple rear camera setup with Zeiss branding, complemented by Vivo's V3 chip for image processing. The Vivo X100 Pro is equipped with a 1-inch type Sony IMX989 main camera, while the standard X100 features a 50-megapixel primary Sony IMX920 VCS bionic main camera.

Vivo X100 Pro, X100 Price, Availability

The top-end Vivo X100 Pro is available in various configurations, starting at CNY 4,999 (approximately Rs 56,500) for the 12GB + 256GB variant and going up to CNY 5,999 (approximately Rs 68,000) for the 16GB + 1TB model.

The vanilla Vivo X100 is priced at CNY 3,999 (approximately Rs 50,000) for the 12GB + 256GB variant and CNY 4,599 (approximately Rs 52,000) for the 16GB + 512GB model, with additional options available.

Colour options include Chen Ye Black, Star Trail Blue, Sunset Orange, and White Moonlight.

Pre-orders for the new Vivo X100 series are currently underway in China, with deliveries scheduled to begin on November 21. The company is yet to announce details regarding the smartphones' launch in India.

Powering the devices are substantial batteries, with the Vivo X100 housing a 5,000mAh unit supporting 120W fast charging, and the X100 Pro featuring a 5,400mAh battery with 100W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging capabilities. Both handsets come with an IP68 rating, indicating water and dust resistance.

Providing detailed specifications, the Vivo X100 Pro features a 6.78-inch AMOLED 8T LTPO curved display, MediaTek Dimensity 9300 SoC, up to 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and a triple rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel main sensor. Connectivity options include 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth, NFC, GPS, NavIC, and a USB Type-C port.

The regular Vivo X100 shares similar specifications with the Pro model, including the Dimensity 9300 SoC, up to 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and a Zeiss-branded triple rear camera setup. It also features a 5,000mAh battery with 120W fast charging support.

The Vivo X100 series aims to make its mark in the competitive premium smartphone market, offering cutting-edge features and powerful performance.
