Vivo V29 and Vivo V29 Pro smartphones have been launched in the Indian market, serving as the successors to the Vivo V27 lineup. These new phones boast a curved AMOLED display, elevating the overall aesthetic and providing a premium look. It's important to note that for Indian buyers, the Vivo V29 aligns with the global model in terms of hardware specifications, whereas the Vivo V29 Pro distinguishes itself by incorporating the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC.

Vivo V29, Vivo V29 Pro: Price In India, Availability

The Vivo V29 is being offered at a price of Rs 32,999 for the 8GB+128GB version and Rs 36,999 for the 12GB+256GB model.

Available in three colour options — Himalayan Blue, Majestic Red, and Black - the handset is set to hit the market on October 17.

On the other hand, the Vivo V29 Pro will be available for Rs 39,999 for the 8GB+256GB model and Rs 42,999 for the 12GB+256GB variant.

It will be offered in Himalayan Blue and Black colours. Pre-bookings for the V29 Pro start today, and the phone will be available for purchase from October 10.

Both phones will be accessible for purchase through multiple channels including the Vivo website, Flipkart, Reliance Digital, and offline stores.

Vivo V29, Vivo V29 Pro: Specifications

Both the Vivo V29 and V29 Pro 5G models feature a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 2,800x1,260 pixels. The display includes a punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera. In terms of processing power, the vanilla Vivo V29 is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G chipset paired with Adreno GPU, while the V29 Pro is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC.

Regarding memory and storage options, the Vivo V29 offers configurations of 8GB+128GB and 12GB+256GB, while the V29 Pro comes in 8GB+256GB and 12GB+256GB variants. Both phones run on Funtouch OS 13, based on Android 13. As for the cameras, the Vivo V29 boasts a 50MP primary sensor with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP monochrome sensor, with a 50MP front camera for selfies and video calls. The V29 Pro shares the same 50MP primary camera with OIS, accompanied by a 12MP portrait lens and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens. Both models feature a 50MP front camera.

In terms of battery, the Vivo V29 series is equipped with a 4,600mAh battery and supports 80W fast charging. Additionally, both models incorporate an in-display fingerprint sensor for enhanced security. These features collectively position the Vivo V29 and Vivo V29 Pro as formidable contenders in the smartphone market, providing users with compelling options for their mobile needs.
