Samsung Galaxy s25 Ultra's battery is rumoured to remain at 5,000mAh, but efficiency improvements in the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip could extend usage times.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra Leaks: Samsung is gearing up for its next flagship launch, the Galaxy S25 Ultra. Expected to debut in early 2025, this new addition to Samsung’s lineup promises upgrades aimed at retaining its position as a leader in the smartphone market.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra Leaks: Release Date and Pricing Speculation

Leaks suggest that Samsung will unveil the Galaxy S25 series on January 23, 2025, at its Galaxy Unpacked event in San Francisco, with the device potentially hitting shelves by February 6. Pricing for the Ultra model is a topic of debate, especially after the Galaxy S24 Ultra launched at $1,299.

Rising material costs and the inclusion of Qualcomm's new Snapdragon 8 Elite chip might push prices higher, though Samsung has not confirmed any changes yet.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra Leaks: Design and Display Features

The Galaxy S25 Ultra is rumoured to feature minor design tweaks while retaining its premium titanium frame introduced with the S24 Ultra. Leaks point to a slightly larger 6.9-inch display, thinner bezels, and a curvier build for enhanced ergonomics. However, Samsung is expected to reuse its M13 OLED display technology, missing out on the brighter M14 panels seen in some rival phones.

Colour options may include titanium, black, green, and blue, with additional exclusive shades like jade and pink possibly on offer.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra Leaks: Camera Upgrades

Samsung is reportedly focusing on its camera technology to compete with rivals like Apple.

A notable rumour includes an upgrade to the ultrawide lens, jumping from 12MP to 50MP, while telephoto capabilities may introduce "variable focal lengths" for smoother zoom transitions. Despite speculation about removing the second telephoto lens, sources suggest Samsung will stick to a four-lens setup for now.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra Leaks: Performance & AI Integration

Powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite, the Galaxy S25 Ultra promises a significant performance leap, with early benchmarks showing a 40 per cent improvement in CPU efficiency and a 42 per cent boost in GPU performance over its predecessor. RAM could also see an increase to 16GB, enhancing multitasking and on-device AI capabilities.

Samsung is expected to double down on AI features with the S25 series, possibly integrating generative AI into its Bixby assistant and other applications. The device will launch with Android 15 via One UI 7 and benefit from Samsung's commitment to long-term software support.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra Leaks: Battery Life & Charging

Battery capacity is rumoured to remain at 5,000mAh, but efficiency improvements in the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip could extend usage times. Charging speeds are expected to stay at 45W, maintaining parity with the S24 Ultra.
