Realme 12+ Specifications

Let’s talk about optics first. Realme 12+ sports a triple rear camera setup, marked by a Sony LYT-600 branded 50-megapixel primary snapper with support for SuperOIS, Realme’s version of a more stable optical image stabilisation (OIS). This is teamed up with a 4cm macro camera and a 112-degree ultra-wide snapper. For selfies and video calls, Realme 12+ comes with a 16-megapixel snapper placed in a top-notch cutout in the centre. Of course, the rear cameras come with the usual set of features such as night and portrait modes.

Realme 12+ is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7050 5G SoC with support for up to 8GB RAM. The motherboard is kept cool by a stainless steel vapour cooling system, which promises long hours of gaming without much lagging.

For display, the smartphone dons a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of 120Hz, a resolution of 2,400x1,800 pixels, as well as support for HRD 10+.

Realme 12+ comes with IP54 water resistance, which makes it suitable for resistance against dust or the usual splashes of water. The screen comes with a feature called Rainwater Smart Touch, which promises a greater touch experience during outdoor usage or using the phone in a shower or sweat.

For security, Realme 12+ comes with an under-display fingerprint scanner, which is claimed to offer an unlock speed of 0.55 seconds.

Powering up the smartphone is a large 5,000mAh battery, with support for 67W SuperVOOC fast charging, which can juice up the device from one to 50 per cent in 19 minutes, Realme claims.

The smartphone runs on Android 14-based Realme UI 5.0. Connectivity is handled by a USB-C port.
