Poco X7 5G Series Launch Date Confirmed: Check Out Specifications

Poco X7 5G is expected to feature a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution.

Poco X7 Leaks: The Poco X7 5G series is officially set to debut in India on January 9, featuring two models: Poco X7 5G and Poco X7 Pro 5G. Both smartphones will be available for purchase through Flipkart, as confirmed by the brand. Poco has also offered a glimpse of the phones’ design and unveiled details about the Pro variant’s chipset ahead of the launch.

Poco X7: Design

Poco’s latest teasers showcase distinct design elements for the two models. The Poco X7 5G features a central squircle-shaped rear camera setup, while the X7 Pro opts for a pill-shaped camera module with circular slots, positioned on the top-left corner of its rear panel. Staying true to Poco’s signature style, the devices are highlighted in black and yellow.

Additionally, leaks hint at expanded colour options, with the base model potentially arriving in silver and green, while the Pro variant may sport a dual-tone black and green finish.

Poco X7: Performance & Hardware

The Poco X7 Pro 5G will be powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 8400-Ultra processor, as officially confirmed. Reports suggest the base model may house a MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Ultra chipset.

Camera specifications appear equally promising, with the Poco X7 series expected to feature a 50-megapixel main camera. The Pro version could incorporate a Sony IMX882 sensor, while the standard model may include a 20-megapixel front camera for selfies. Both devices are rumoured to boast durable IP68-rated builds.

Poco X7: Display & Battery

The Poco X7 5G is rumoured to feature a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection. Meanwhile, the Pro variant is expected to include a CrystalRez 1.5K AMOLED screen of the same size.

Battery capacities also differ between the two models, with the Poco X7 5G packing a 5,110mAh battery supporting 45W fast charging, and the Pro version offering a larger 6,000mAh battery with 90W fast charging capabilities.

With an array of powerful features and striking designs, the Poco X7 5G series is poised to capture attention when it launches early this year.
