Poco X6, Poco X6 Pro To Launch With HyperOS In India
Positioned as the successor to the Poco X5 Pro, the upcoming Poco X6 Pro is said to be a rebranded version of the Redmi K70E.
The Poco X6 Pro is set to debut in India on January 11, alongside the Poco X6 model. The global launch is also scheduled on the same day. Ahead of the official release, the brand has revealed that the Poco X6 Pro will introduce Xiaomi HyperOS to the Indian market. Additionally, the company has confirmed that the Poco X6 Pro will be the first in India to feature the MediaTek Dimensity 8300 Ultra SoC.
"The integration of Xiaomi HyperOS with the upcoming POCO X6 Pro, marks an exciting milestone for us,” Himanshu Tandon, Country Head, Poco India, has said.
“Xiaomi HyperOS’ capabilities align with our vision to deliver peak performance and seamless connectivity, enhancing the overall user experience in the Poco X6 Pro.”
Positioned as the successor to the Poco X5 Pro, the upcoming Poco X6 Pro is said to be a rebranded version of the Redmi K70E, which was unveiled earlier in China in November 2023. Previous leaks and reports have offered insights into the design and key specifications of this premium model in the Poco X6 series. The handset maker has now disclosed the operating system details and AnTuTu score for the handset.

As per the information on the Poco global website, the smartphones will come with CrystalRes display with a resolution of 1220p, surpassing 1080p. The company claims this resolution maintains power efficiency comparable to 1080p displays. Regarding configurations, the Poco global website suggests options of 512GB storage and 12GB RAM, though it remains uncertain if this configuration will be offered for both models or exclusively for the Pro variant.
Regarding imaging, leaks point to a triple-camera setup with a 64-megapixel primary sensor equipped with optical image stabilisation. Additionally, the Poco global website highlights features such as 67W turbo charging and an in-display fingerprint sensor.
