OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite 5G And Nord Buds 2 Launched In India

As expected, OnePlus on Tuesday refreshed its Nord lineup with the launch of the OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite 5G and the OnePlus Nord Buds 2 in India.

As expected, OnePlus on Tuesday refreshed its Nord lineup with the launch of the OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite 5G and the OnePlus Nord Buds 2 in India. The Nord CE 3 Lite is an affordable device from the house of OnePlus, but it claims to bring the company's signature fast and smooth performance, with significant key features. The smartphone sports a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 5G chipset, a 108MP main camera and a hefty 5000mAh battery capacity that supports 67W SUPERVOOC proprietary ultra-fast charging.

The Nord CE 3 Lite has slimmed down a bit and now measures 8.3mm in thickness as against Nord CE 2 Lite's 8.5mm thickness. The phone still weighs the same, at 195 grams. It has been launched in two colours: a refreshing Pastel Lime and Chromatic Grey.

“We are proud to introduce the OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite 5G, as it signifies many firsts for the brand and brings our signature best-in-class features and experiences to users. Together with the OnePlus Nord Buds 2, we are confident that these new offerings can deliver OnePlus’ advanced technology to global users and highly improve their digital life,” Kinder Liu, President and COO of OnePlus, said in a statement.

The Nord CE 3 Lite will compete with the likes of the iQoo Z7, which starts at a price of Rs 18,999 in India. The smartphone will be made available on April 11 via OnePlus.in, Amazon India, OnePlus Experience Stores and the company's authorised stores. Those who opt to buy the device will get Rs 1,000 off on ICICI Bank cards.

In terms of specs, the OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite comes with a 6.72-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels and a refresh rate of 120Hz. The device runs on Android 13-based proprietary OxygenOS 13. The 67W SUPERVOOC Endurance Edition doubles the charging cycles and works to increase the battery’s lifespan and overall battery health in the long run, the company noted.

There are 12 sensors on the smartphone, which help the OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite 5G monitor its temperature and keep the device from overheating. There's a standard 3.5mm headphone jack as well. In terms of camera, the Nord CE 3 Lite comes with a triple rear camera setup dominated by a 108MP primary sensor, a 2MP macro sensor and a 2MP depth camera. For selfies and video calls, the phone has a 16MP front-facing camera.
