OnePlus 12 May Debut With Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Chip, 50W Wireless Charging

Handset maker OnePlus is likely to launch the successor to OnePlus 11 later this year. Weeks after CAD renders of the purported OnePlus 12 were leaked, a new leak, courtesy of famed tipster OnLeaks have surfaced that suggest the OnePlus 12 may feature a triple camera setup and flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset which may be announced soon.

The leakster has collaborated with publication SmartPrix and revealed that the OnePlus 12 is likely to feature a 6.7-inch OLED display with a QHD+ resolution and a 120Hz of refresh rate. There is no official word or teaser from the company regarding the launch date of the OnePlus 12.

OnePlus 12 Specs And Features (Expected)  

The OnePlus 12 is likely to feature upgrades over the OnePlus 11. The device is said to come with wireless charging support, at 50W. The phone may also come with a USB 3.2 charging support in its USB-C port as well as an IR blaster. In the camera department, the OnePlus 12 may get a "high-quality periscope" zoom lens, with 3x optical zoom and a 64MP sensor. The phone may feature a 32MP selfie camera at the front.

The device is said to be powered by a hefty 5,000mAh battery with support for 120W wired fast charging and. According to a previous leak, courtesy of tipster Max Jambor, OnePlus 12 is likely to debut in December later this and it will head to other global markets, including India, in January 2024.

As per previously leaked renders, the OnePlus 12 was spotted in black colour with a glossy back, which was missing in the search OnePlus 11. OnePlus will most likely release other colour options at the time of launch, which is still not clear.

In terms of design language, there won't be much difference from this year's OnePlus 11. It would likely have the same huge circular camera module at the back, but the camera would get a significant upgrade in the form of a periscope camera on the OnePlus 12. The LED flash seems to have moved to the top-left corner of the camera. The front side may have a bezel-less screen with a selfie camera moved from the corner to the centre of the screen. The alert slider and power button are placed on the right side and the volume keys are on the left.
