Nokia G42 5G Unveiled In A New Variant In India. Specs, Price, More

In September 2023, Nokia G42 5G made its debut in India, offering consumers a choice between two vibrant colour options and a singular RAM and storage configuration. Just a month later, in October, Nokia expanded its offerings by introducing a third captivating colour variant and an additional RAM and storage option for the phone. Now, Nokia has recently unveiled a budget-friendly option for the handset, featuring 4GB of RAM. This latest variant is set to hit the shelves in India later this month, providing consumers more affordability.

The latest configuration of the Nokia G42 5G, featuring 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, comes at a price tag of Rs 9,999 in India. For those seeking more power and storage, the 6GB + 128GB option is available at Rs 12,999, while the top-tier 8GB + 256GB variant is priced at Rs 16,999 in India. Nokia fans can purchase the new 4GB variant starting March 8 through e-commerce platform Amazon India and the HMD website. This model is available in three stylish colour options: So Grey, So Pink, and So Purple.

Featuring a 6.56-inch HD+ (720 x 1,612 pixels) LCD display, the Nokia G42 5G offers a smooth visual experience with its 90Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 560 nits. Additionally, the screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for added durability. Under the hood, it runs on an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 480+ chipset, combined with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage, ensuring seamless performance and ample space for your apps and files.

The phone comes pre-installed with Android 13, offering users the latest features and enhancements from the Android ecosystem.

Powered by a robust 5,000mAh battery, the Nokia G42 5G ensures long-lasting usage and convenience, enhanced by its support for 20W wired fast charging.
