Moto G85, the latest 5G smartphone from Motorola, is now official in the Indian market. This new addition to the Moto G-series is powered by the Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 processor and offers up to 12GB of RAM. It boasts a 6.67-inch pOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and features a dual rear camera setup, including a 50-megapixel primary sensor. The device is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery supporting 33W fast charging. The Moto G85 5G is reportedly a rebranded version of the Moto S50 Neo, which was launched in China last month.

Moto G85 Price In India

The Moto G85 5G is priced at Rs 17,999 for the 8GB + 128GB storage variant, while the 12GB + 256GB storage model is available for Rs 19,999.

Customers can choose from Olive Green, Cobalt Blue, and Urban Gray colour options.

The phone will be available for purchase next week, starting July 16 at 12 pm IST through Flipkart, Motorola's official website, and select retail stores across India.

Moto G85 Specifications, Features

The Moto G85 5G operates on the Android 14-based Hello UI and features a 6.67-inch full-HD+ 3D curved pOLED screen. The display supports a 120Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate, with peak local brightness of 1,600 nits. It is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The phone runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 chipset, paired with the Adreno 619 GPU. It offers up to 12GB of RAM, expandable virtually to 24GB, and up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage.

The dual rear camera system includes a 50-megapixel Sony Lytia 600 primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens. For selfies and video calls, a 32-megapixel front camera is provided.

Connectivity options encompass Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, LTEPP, and a USB Type-C port. The device has an IP52-rated water-repellent build and includes sensors like an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, e-compass, gyroscope, proximity sensor, sensor hub, and SAR sensor. Biometric security is ensured with an in-display fingerprint sensor and face unlock feature. It also features stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support.

The Moto G85 5G’s 5,000mAh battery is claimed to offer up to 34 hours of playtime on a single charge, with 33W wired fast charging support. Motorola promises two years of OS upgrades and four years of security updates for the device. The phone measures 161.91x73.06x7.59 mm and weighs approximately 172 grams.
