Apple iPhone SE Available For Under Rs 15,000 On Flipkart: Know Everything

E-commerce site Flipkart is offering a heavy discount of almost Rs 10,000 on all the variants of the iPhone SE.

With the much-awaited Apple iPhone set to be officially unveiled in early September, this may be the perfect time for those who long to purchase the smaller iPhone SE which is currently available for under Rs 15,000. E-commerce site Flipkart is offering a heavy discount of almost Rs 10,000 on all the variants of the iPhone SE.

The price of the base model of the iPhone SE with 64GB of onboard storage has come down to Rs 29,999 after applying Flipkart's massive discount of Rs 9,901. After the discount, the prices of iPhone SE's other two storage options with 128GB and 256GB of onboard storage have come down to Rs 34,999 and Rs 44,999, respectively.

There is an additional exchange offer on exchanging your old phone on which the e-commerce site is offering up to Rs 17,000 discount. The exchange value of the iPhone 11 has been set by Flipkart at Rs 16,000 which effectively brings down the price of the Apple iPhone SE to Rs 13,999. Prospective buyers also get a discount of 10 per cent on SBI Credit Cards and a 10 per cent off on SBI Credit Card EMI transactions. For Axis Bank Card users, there is a 5 per cent cashback offer.

Meanwhile, in a bid to expand into the advertising space and make it its next big revenue driver, Apple is working to put more ads on iPhones and iPads, the media reported last week. According to the latest edition of the "Power On" newsletter, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, Apple's VP of Advertising Platforms Todd Teresi is working towards increasing the annual revenue of the tech giant into "double digits" up from the current annual revenue of about $4 billion.

The iPhone maker had apparently started testing search ads in the Apple Maps app a few weeks ago and ads would be eventually pushed into Apple's other digital storefronts such as Apple Podcasts and Apple Books.

Currently, ads are being pushed into Apple's News and Stocks apps as well as inside the Apple App Store across the iPhone, iPad and Mac models. The Apple App Store also has Google-like search ads. And more recently, Apple put advertising inside of TV+ for its “Friday Night Baseball” deal with Major League Baseball, the Power On newsletter added.
