Google Pixel 6a has been launched in India after a series of leaks and rumours, the company announced on Thursday. The smartphone has been made available in India as part of the global launch of the smartphone. The Pixel 6a, powered by Google's proprietary Tensor chip can be pre-ordered in the country on e-commerce site Flipkart starting July 21. The smartphone will compete with the likes of the newly launched Nothing Phone 1 and the OnePlus 10R among others.

The Pixel 6a has been unveiled in India in a single 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage variant at a price of Rs 43,999. The smartphone comes with accurate speech recognition features including recorder, live caption, and live translate. It also comes with an adaptive battery that can last over 24 hours and up to 72 hours when in Extreme Battery Saver mode which is a first for Pixel phones, the tech giant has claimed.

The Pixel 6a is built with an extra layer of hardware security in Google Tensor chip, which works with the Titan M2 security chip so that sensitive user data is safe. The Pixel 6a has been made available in the country in two classic colours: Charcoal and Chalk. According to the company, the Pixel 6a will receive five years of security updates along with the latest features and updates introduced by Google. As always, the Pixel 6a will also be among the first Android devices to receive the upcoming Android 13 update.

Price and specs of Google Pixel Buds Pro

As expected, Google is also expanding its earbuds offerings in India with the Pixel Buds Pro, the company's answer to the Apple AirPods Pro. a perfect companion to the Pixel phone. The Pixel Buds Pro will also be available Flipkart July 28 for Rs 19,990. This pair of premium earbuds come with Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) with Silent Seal which adapts to your unique ear shape and the earbuds fit in your ear canal to maximise the amount of noise
blocked, the company has said. Pixel Buds Pro brings full and rich sound at any level with Volume EQ, dynamically adapting to your listening volume and making subtle tweaks to the frequency curve.

The Pixel Buds Pro processes a wide range of frequencies with low latency to keep the audio sounding natural and in sync. Pixel Buds Pro charges wirelessly and gives you up to 11 hours of listening time or up to 7 hours with Active Noise Cancellation turned on, Google added.
