This growth is largely fueled by increased health challenges exacerbated by the pandemic, including heightened stress and mental health concerns among women.

How Can Smartwatches Help?

Smartwatches are significantly impacting the femtech industry with their specialised features for women's health. These devices offer menstrual cycle tracking, allowing users to log cycles, monitor symptoms, and receive predictions for periods and fertile windows.

Research shows that smartwatches can analyse body temperature and heart rate variability to track menstrual cycles and ovulation, providing real-time data for more precise reproductive health management. Some also can help in pregnancy tracking, helping expectant mothers monitor symptoms and receive weekly updates on their baby’s development.

Additionally, smartwatches offer comprehensive health monitoring, including metrics on heart rate, stress levels, sleep patterns, and hydration, all essential for overall well-being.
