Amazfit Active Edge Rugged Smartwatch Launched: Specifications, Price, Colours

Available in three colourways: Lava Black, Midnight Pulse, and Mint Green hues, the Amazfit Active Edge has been priced at Rs 12,999.

Amazfit on Friday introduced the Amazfit Active Edge smartwatch in India following leaks and teasers. Boasting a rugged sport and fitness design, this latest smartwatch offers five satellite systems for precise GPS tracking, an AI Health Coach catering to gym, outdoor, workouts, and exercises, along with a claimed battery life of up to 16 days. Additionally, the company highlights its 10 ATM water resistance feature in the new rugged smartwatch.

Amazfit Active Edge Specifications, Colours And Price

Available in three colourways: Lava Black, Midnight Pulse, and Mint Green hues, the Amazfit Active Edge has been priced at Rs 12,999. Starting February 27, the smartwatch will be available through e-commerce site Amazon.in, the Amazfit website, as well as authorised retail partners across India.

Following recent teasers, Amazfit has now officially released the Active Edge smartwatch for the Indian market. Positioned as a premium offering, the rugged smartwatch boasts a 1.32-inch display, GPS, Zepp Coach functionality, numerous health and fitness modes, and a host of other features. The Active Edge is equipped with a 1.32-inch TFT LCD display featuring tempered glass and an anti-fingerprint coating. It incorporates a BioTracker 3 PPG biometric sensor capable of measuring blood-oxygen levels, supported by 1 PD + 2 LED. Additionally, it includes a 3-axis motion sensor as well as an accelerometer sensor.

Similar to its counterparts, the Amazfit Active Edge smartwatch can track your heart rate, blood oxygen levels (SpO2), and stress levels. It comes equipped with Zepp Coach, providing features such as the Zepp Coach running coach, Track Run mode, Smart trajectory correction, Virtual pacer, and Race achievement predictions.

The newly-launched Amazfit Active Edge boasts water resistance up to 10ATM.

The smartwatch is touted to deliver up to 16 days of battery life under typical usage, up to 10 days with heavy usage, and up to 24 days in battery-saver mode, with up to 20 hours of GPS usage. Additionally, it features a calendar and sedentary reminders, while call notifications enable users to manage music and camera controls.
