Activision Bringing Call of Duty: Warzone To Smartphones

New Delhi: The good news is here: US-based video game publisher Activision is bringing royale shooter game Call of Duty: Warzone for smartphone users and the company is also hiring for new positions to build the game.

The Santa Monica, California-based company announced on Twitter that it was hiring for different roles in the development and publishing teams. "We are building Call of Duty® Warzone™ for mobile! Apply today for exciting roles across the development and publishing teams. More Information Here: http://bit.ly/3pQHrRu," Activision tweeted on Friday.

According to the game publisher, it is creating an all-new, AAA mobile experience that will bring the thrilling, fluid and large-scale action of Call of Duty: Warzone to "players on the go". 

"Join our growing, award-winning team of mobile veterans and emerging talent on this ambitious mission. We are seeking skilled operators in all aspects of game development. This large-scale, battle royale experience is being built natively for mobile with cutting-edge technology designed to entertain gamers around the world for many years to come," the company said in a statement.

"From production roles to engineering, design, art, marketing, and more, we’re looking for game-makers, passionate fans, and genuinely awesome people to join our diverse team, inspired to deliver the next world-class mobile gaming experience to fans. We have several incredible opportunities across multiple internal studios including Solid State Studios, Beenox, Digital Legends and Demonware."

Activision has not specified further details of the Call Of Duty Warzone for mobile and whether the game will be like Apex Legends Mobile, which only lets users play against other mobile players. Meanwhile, Activision is hiring new workforce at a time when it is in the middle of controversy and facing lawsuits over alleged sexual harassment and has fired several employees it found guilty.
