Nisha performs 'Silambattam', a form of South India martial art in front of villagers on her wedding day to spread awareness about self-defense.
Thoothukudi: P Nisha all dressed in red bridal saree, started performing martial arts known as Silambattam Adimurai in South India minutes after wedding ceremony on 28th June
She took weapons, ‘Surul vaal veechu’ and silambam sticks to carry out ‘Rettai Kambu' on a concrete road in front of the wedding hall in Thirukolu. Nisha displayed feat for a good cause.

Nisha said "I performed traditional martial arts before the villagers soon after the wedding to make women aware of the importance of self-defence. I have been learning this for past 3 years. I want more people to learn this art," she said.
After seeing her brave performance social media going gaga over her skill and netizens are pouring praises on the 22-year-old bride.
Evidently, her video containing 'Silambattam' performance, is going viral inspiring many.
