Our Alliance Not Just For Election But Of Ideology: TN CM Stalin

Stalin also spoke in Malayalam about the diversity of India and said that no space should be given for divisive forces to spoil the unity of the nation.

Chennai: “The alliance we (DMK) have with the parties (CPM, Congress etc.,) is not just an alliance for election but its an alliance of ideologies so it will continue,” said Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin during a private event on Saturday. The statement of the CM on continuing the alliance has come at a time when there were speculations after the Chess Olympiad event on Thursday that DMK might mull on changing its alliance.

Addressing a conclave of a media house based out of Kerala on the topic "State of Affairs: Federalism, Freedom and Forward", CM Stalin said, “The alliance we have with the parties is not just an alliance for election but its an alliance of ideologies. Hence, we are intact.”

“The CPM is giving suggestions related to our governance and we even make changes based on their suggestions. So, our alliance will continue,” he said.
