Tamil Nadu Introduces Auto Ambulances To Carry Covid-19 Patients
Tamil Nadu Forest Minister K Ramachandran today (July 3) launched Auto Ambulances to facilitate an easy ride for Covid-19 Patients in hilly district of Nilgiris.
Udhagamandalam: Tamil Nadu Forest Minister K Ramachandran on Satuday flagged off six auto ambulances in Nilgiris in Nilgiris district to carry Covid-19 patients.
"Being a hilly district, the roads and pathways were too narrow for the movement of bigger ambulances, so auto ambulances were introduced," the Forest Minister said.

Applauding MK Stalin's efforts to facilitate medical infrastructure with required numbers of beds, medical oxygen and other equipments, Ramachandran said at a function that due to CM's effort Covid cases started decliningin in the state."Considering the decline in the cases, the Chief Minister announced lockdown relaxations and was taking steps to prevent the third wave of Covid," he said.
District Collector J Innocent Divya and other senior district officials were also present on the occasion.
