Parts Of Chennai To Experience Power Shutdown On Friday
Some of the areas which are likely to experience power shutdown include Adyar, Tambaram, Porur, Tiruvanmiyur, IT Corridor, Guindy and KK Nagar.
Chennai: Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation Limited (TANGEDCO) released a list of places that are set to experience power shutdown due to maintenance works in Chennai on Friday. Some of the areas which are likely to experience power shutdown from 9 am to 2 pm on Friday include Adyar, Tambaram, Porur, Tiruvanmiyur, IT Corridor, Guindy and KK Nagar.
Mylapore: Anderson Road, College Road, Arimuthu Achari Street, Model School Road, Arugam Lane, Greams Road, DPI Campus and Nungambakkam High Road.
Adyar/Thiruvanmiyur: Iswaraya Colony, Canal Road, CS Colony, Kamaraj Nagar 1st to 3rd West Street, Ranganathapuram and Venkatarathinam Nagar.

Tambaram: Bhavani Nagar, Pasumpon Nagar, IAF-Agasthiyar Koil Street, Anjaneyar Koil Street, Sithalapakkam-Kovilanchery, Bharathama Street, Mambakkam, Pammal-Shankar Nagar, LIC Colony, Thiruneermalai Main Road, Adam Nagar, Medavakkam Main Road and Thiru Nagar.
Tangedco also announced power shutdown in Perumbakkam-Sowmya Nagar, Vimala Nagar, Prince College Road, Ottiyambakkam-Nethaji Nagar, Tellus Avenue and Ottiyambakkam Main Road.

Meanwhile, Tangedco cut power supply in areas including Anna Nagar, Mylapore, Ambattur, Guindy, Perungudi, Porur and KK Nagar on Thursday.
As a result, places including Bharathiyar street, Karthikeyan Nagar and Janaki Nagar in Anna Nagar experienced power shutdown. In Mylapore, Dr Besant Road, Peters Road and Sardarjung Garden 2nd street and in Ambattur Mogappair east, Mogappair west, Collector Nagar and Eri Scheme experienced power cut on Thursday.
In Perungudi, Santhosh Nagar, Rajeswari Street, St Thomas Street and Harivardhan Street experienced the power shutdown.
