On Saturday, women political leaders of I.N.D.I.A bloc including Congress leader Sonia Gandhi and PDP Chief Mehbooba Mufti are to address the gathering and discuss various issues of women in the first women leader's meet of the Opposition bloc.

Ahead of the party's women's conference being held in Chennai, DMK MP Kanimozhi said, “Half the population of this country is women, therefore the voices of women leaders, their opinions and their concerns have to find focus in the political arena of the country."
