Caught On Camera: 15 Men Abduct Woman From Her House In TN's Mayiladuthurai
Mayiladuthurai Kidnap Case: The accused Vigneshwaran even tried to kidnap the woman earlier on July 12.
Chennai: A woman was kidnapped by her stalker and 14 of his associates at her house in Mayiladuthurai on Tuesday. Based on a tipoff, the police immediately formed a special team, zeroed down on the accused and rescued the woman.
A few reports also suggested that the woman was kidnapped after she reportedly refused to accept the love proposal of the prime accused.
According to a report on India Today, as per the CCTV footage from the house, 15 men broke open the front gate and entered the home of the woman. They then kidnapped her.
It all started after Vigneshwaran, one of the accused in the case, befriended the woman and began to stalk her. The woman who learned about the stalking approached Mayiladuthurai police. The police reportedly took a statement from the accused and they then released him after a warning.

Following this, Vigneshwaran reportedly tried to kidnap the woman on July 12. However, she escaped and informed the police.
Angered by the turn of events, Vigneshwaran once again plotted to kidnap the woman. He along with 14 other associates broke into the woman's home. They threatened the family with knives and other objects and then kidnapped the woman.

The woman's family immediately alerted Mayiladuthurai police who formed a team to establish a search against the accused. The police zeroed down on the accused and arrested Vigneshwaran and his two associates. They then rescued the woman.
