Chennai: Police should accept Coimbatore car cylinder blast as a ‘suicide attack’ and disclose the details about things seized from the deceased’s home, said Tamil Nadu BJP chief K Annamalai on Tuesday.
While addressing reporters on Tuesday, Tamil Nadu BJP chief K Annamalai said, “Police have recovered 50 kg of ammonium nitrate, potassium, sodium, fuse wire and 7-volt batteries from the residence of Jamesha Mubin (who died in the incident). Police have not disclosed this yet.”

On Monday, Annamalai taking to social media said, “36 hours have passed since the bomb blast in Coimbatore. But till now why is @CMOTamilnadu reluctant to meet people and talk about this?”
“A 'suicide attack' that Tamil Nadu has never seen before has taken place in this incompetent DMK regime. Will you wait until casualties occur?” he said.

A man identified as Jamesha Mubin was killed when a cylinder in the car he was driving exploded near Eswaran temple in Coimbatore's Ukkadam on Sunday morning. It may also be noted that Jamesha was under the radar of National Investigation Agency (NIA).
