AIADMK General Council Passes Resolution To Expel O Panneerselvam From All Party Posts

Chennai: In the General Council Meet on Monday at AIADMK headquarters, former Minister Natham Vishwanathan brought a new resolution to expel O Panneerselvam from all the party posts. While demanding his expulsion, Viswanathan said that OPS has been against AIADMK Party. The former minister called OPS selfish and he accused the former minister that he didn't think about the party's goodwill.
The resolution accuses him of being close to DMK leaders and acting against the interests of the party. Besides OPS, his supporters JCD Prabhakar, Manoj Pandian and Vaithiyalingam were also removed from the primary membership of AIADMK.

Responding to OPS' expulsion, Viswanathan said OPS is a dual-faced person. "O Pannerselvam has a dual face. He doesn't want anyone to have a good life. He is jealous...saying so from my experience. I am happy that he is out now," Former Minister Natham Viswnatham said as quoted by news agency ANI.
Besides Viswanatham, Kadambur Raju also slammed OPS and his faction for doing things against the party. "OPS has now become a political orphan. He is the reason for his today's situation. We can forgive our enemies but not traitors," Raju said adding, "He himself says he is the close aide of Jayalalithaa. Once Jayalalithaa herself asked him to leave the party and didn't speak for 6 months."
Ahead of passing the resolution to expel OPS, another former minister Thangamani questioned , "Lot of Betrayal was done by O Pannerselvam with the help of DMK. We have to decide if still party needs him?"
