Yogi Govt 2.0: Ten Major Decisions By CM Adityanath As He Completes 1 Month Of His Second Tenure In UP

With taking oath as the Chief Minister for second consecutive term in Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath has broken the state's redord that no government has repeated itself for a second term.

New Delhi: Exactly a month ago, on March 25, Yogi Adityanath took oath as the Chief Minister for the second consecutive term at the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Stadium in Lucknow. With this, a record — that no no party has returned to power in the next term — was broken and the BJP made a new beginning.

Now the next challenge that the party faces is to repeat this history after years in the Lok Sabha elections.

There is an old saying that the road to power in Delhi passes through Lucknow. So CM Yogi is now working to improve the same path for PM Modi. If the start is good then the goal becomes easy. So here is the account of the work of the Yogi government since last month.

  1. First major decision of the first cabinet of Yogi Government 2.0 was to extend the free ration scheme by three months. Under this scheme 15 crore people will continue to get ration even further.

  3. Global Investor Summit to be held again with an investment target of Rs 10 lakh crore in two years. The UP government prepares to take a big leap to boost industrial investment in the state.

  4. Resumption of ‘Janata Darshan’ at CM residence. Instructions were given to solve problems of the people everyday in presence of a minister from the government. Moreover, Sonbhadra DM Ghaziabad SSP were suspended for ignoring problems of the public, negligence, and corruption, while Auraiya DM was suspended for negligence and corruption.

  5. ‘School Chalo Abhiyan’ was started by the Yogi government in its second term with special focus on districts with low literacy rates. Process of giving 9.74 lakh tablets and smartphones to the youth has also been initiated.

  6. Women to be recruited for 20 percent posts of home guards in the state, a process which will start in 100 days. Women and male home guard personnel to receive health insurance under Ayushmann Bharat scheme.

  7. Medical professional seats will be doubled in the next five years in the state. 7000 seats of MBBS, 3000 of PG, 14,500 of Nursing and 3,600 seats of Paramedical will be increased in five years.

  8. Microphone and loudspeaker are no longer allowed in new places in the state.

  9.  Properties of more than 100 criminals and mafias raised down by bulldozers in the last 20 days.

  10. All ministries were asked to prepare a roadmap for the next 3 months, 6 months and 5 years in a month.
