UP Report Card: Priyanka Gandhi Calls Yogi Govt A Failure, Mayawati Says Ground Reality Different From Claims
On completion of 4.5 years in governance, the Yogi government has presented a report card of its work. The opposition leaders have questioned the claims
New Delhi: The BJP government led by Yogi Adityanath in Uttar Pradesh has completed 4.5 years in governance. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath organised a press conference on the occasion and released a report on the government's work.
We have tried our best to run a government of good governance in these 4.5 years, he said, counting the achievements of the government. "We have worked for the development of every section of the state. Not a single riot has taken place in the state in the last 4.5 years. We've done a satisfactory job all over the state," he added.

Yogi government has failed: Priyanka Gandhi
Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra questioned the report card presented on the completion of 4.5 years of the Yogi government. Priyanka Gandhi took to Twitter to hit out at the Yogi government's report card and wrote, "The UP government should have answered public questions over 4.5 years, but no, they have not. It only lies, lies and just lies".
She alleged that the Uttar Pradesh government failed to provide fill lakhs of vacant posts and close pending recruitments, pay the farmers price for sugarcane, wheat, paddy, potato prices to the farmer, to reduce the price of electricity, and to check inflation.
Mayawati says there is a difference between words and actions
Former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister and BSP chief Mayawati has also attacked the Yogi government on the report card presented on completion of 4.5 years She wrote that the advertisements and claims by the UP BJP government are unfulfilled and far from ground reality.
"There is a difference between what they say and what they do which has particularly lead to rising poverty, unemployment, inflation, etc... and has exposed the plight of people," she stated.
