UP Police Recruitment 2021: The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment Board (UPPRB) has released an official notification to fill 9,534 vacancies. The recruitment drive is aimed at filling the vacancies for the post of Sub Inspector (SI) Civil Police (Male/Female), Platoon Commander/Sub-Inspector Armed Police (Male), and Fire Service Second Officer (Male), as per the official notice.
What is the age limit?
The minimum age limit mentioned for the post is 21 years while the maximum age limit is 28 years. Candidates belonging to the SC, ST, OBC category of the state will get relaxation in the age limit as per the rules. As per the official notification, the selected candidates will get a salary of Rs 9,300 to Rs 34,800 along with grade pay of Rs 4,200 per month.
What is the selection procedure?
The UP Police SI Recruitment 2021 examination will conducted in online mode. The total duration of the exam is 2 hours consisting of 400 marks. Candidates for the above position will be selected on the basis of performance in online written exam, PST, PET, final list and medical exam.
