UP Election 2022: UP Election Fight Between Dynasts & Diehard Nationalists, Says PM Modi In Deoria
PM Modi further slammed the previous governments in Uttar Pradesh saying that they shut the sugar mills and did not clear dues of the sugarcane farmers.
New Delhi: Ahead of sixth phase of polling for Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections, Prime Minister Narendra Modi targeted the opposition parties in Uttar Pradesh and said that the UP Election is a “fight between dynasts and die hard nationalists.”
“Uttar Pradesh elections are a fight between the dynasts and diehard nationalists, which the opposition parties do not understand,” he said addressing his second election rally in Deoria.

PM Modi further slammed the previous governments in Uttar Pradesh saying that they shut the sugar mills and did not clear dues of the sugarcane farmers.
“Whereas the Yogi Adityanath government modernised sugar mills and facilitated ethanol blending, which fetched about Rs 12,000 crore for the state,” the PM said further.
On the issue of education in the district, PM Modi said, “Some time ago, I laid the foundation stones of 9 medical colleges in UP including Deoria's Maharshi Devraha Baba Autonomous State Medical College. This medical college could have been constructed before, but these 'Pariwardis' never prioritised you.”
The constituency of Deoria will undergo polls in the sixth phase of polling on March 3.
Meanwhile, Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav addressed an election rally in Fazilnagar where he, referring to Swami Prasad Maurya, said, “Earlier we sat across from each other, now we'll sit close to each other & run the govt.”
Polling for the fifth phase of Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections in underway which includes 624 candidates across the districts of Pilibhit, Lakhimpur Kheri, Sitapur, Hardoi, Unnao, Lucknow, Rae Bareli, Banda, and Fatehpur.
The remaining two phases of the poll will be conducted on March 3 and March 7 while the votes will be counted on March 10.
